The following are some of the sectors;

The following are some of the actives the chambers have undertaken in the agriculture sector; signed an MOU with North-western Horticulture Consortium (PROSPERO, SHOPRITE, PICK n PAY, ATS and Aggregators)

The chamber plans to undertake the singing of the following MOUs with the following organisations: 1. Industry Development corporation (IDC) {aim is to create access to markets}.

  1. TATA Zambia (aim is to create access to agriculture equipment).
  2. Farmers Union (aim is to create capacity building, market linkages and access to finance).

The following are some of the actives the chamber has undertaken in the mining sector; facilitated access to local & foreign markets for SME’s both within the country and outside the country through trade missions (Congo and Angola trade missions), B to B meetings and Expo’s.  We have also advocated and lobbied for the following; an inclusive business model, local content procurement.

The following are some of the actives the chamber has undertaken in the hospitality and tourism sector: signed an MOU with Netherlands senior experts (PUM) to provide Technical Support in the Hospitality & Tourism sectors.

The following are some of the actives the chamber has undertaken in the banking & finance sectors; signed an MOU with INDE credit, the aim was to bridge the gap for access to finance for SMEs in the Mining sector. We also signed an MOU with TYSIS Capital, the aim was to bridge the gap for access to finance for SMEs in all the sectors of the economy.
